History
Cornerstone Christian School has over 126 students in preschool-8th grades.
Our average class size is 15. We have 25 staff members.
When we opened our doors in 1999, our principal, Nancy Brownsey, and a steering committee provided for us our foundational documents. These documents provided a focus for our entire constituency for the first few years of our existence. In 2006, our staff embarked on STAR “Steps Toward Achieving Recognition” through the Association of Christian Schools International. As part of our project, the entire staff re-examined our mission, vision, philosophy, and educational beliefs. These updated documents are included in the school Handbook.
In June, 2009, after 10 years of faithful service, Nancy Brownsey retired. Dr. Arthur J. Hunt & Mrs. Sandra Nettleingham led the school as Head of School and Principal. Presently, Dr. Vicki Kloosterhouse, Head of School, leads the school along with Mrs. Michelle Annas, Principal.
CCS's hallways and many classrooms received a facelift in 2023 as part of the our church's SHINE project.
We rejoice in the students' lives transformed in our first decade and look forward to the future!"
