Bio: Lindsay Kimball is a lifelong musician whose passion is working with children to enrich their musical abilities through lessons, choral programs, recitals, and, most importantly, to equip them to lead worship in their church bodies. She attended Alma College, where she studied Music Education and English, with an emphasis on vocal music. While there, she was a member of their top touring choral ensemble, helped charter an all-female pop a cappella group for whom she found her passion in writing and arranging music, and taking collegiate level piano courses and private lessons as a supplement to her vocal degree. She has been the Children’s Choir director at Cornerstone EPC since the fall of 2011. She has taught repertoire for her chorus to participate in the annual Christmas Concerts at CEPC, lead worship monthly alongside the adult choir, as well as chartering multiple Children’s Choir Spring Musicals. She is a member and worship leader, as well as an adult choir member at Cornerstone. She works at a local business in the Brighton community and is also a member of the Livingston County Women’s Chorus and female pop a cappella group, The Decibelles. Her own passion for worship, singing, and sharing the love of Jesus through music in the community is something she hopes to pass on to the next generation of musicians. She says, “In the wise words of Buddy the Elf, “I just like smiling. Smiling’s my favorite!” And also, coffee. Coffee is her favorite.
