Position: Interim 5th Grade Teacher

Bio: Mrs. Smet received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wayne State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She previously taught full-time elementary classes at Golightly Academy in Southfield and the Detroit Public Schools before taking time off to raise her three children. Upon returning to teaching, Christine was a regular guest teacher in the South Lyon Public Schools for 19 years. She also has been a regular guest teacher for 18 years here at Cornerstone Christian School. Additionally, Mrs. Smet taught 4th grade full-time for two years, and enjoyed long-term teaching assignments for 4th grade in 2021 and 5th grade in 2018 as well as this year.
